Newly crowned “Rapper of the Year” at the just ended VGMA’s Kwesi Arthur, drops a surprise EP on our heads. “This Is Not The Album 2” is a precursor to a soon be released major project. The Ground Up Chale act is already out with exhilarating visuals to “Live From the 233” — the standout record off the 3-track project.

Off the back of picking up the “Reggae/Dancehall Song of the Year” nod at the just ended VGMA’s with hit song “Poverty”, Empawa Africa’s very own dancehall prince J.Derobie unleashes celebratory dancehall anthem “Riches” on our heads.

Darkovibes — Dead Friends (Freestyle) (@Darkovibes)

Darkovibes exhibits his versatility on the newly released AltraNova produced cut. Inspired by his much talked about freestyle session on Tim Westwood, the hard-hitting rap joint is his first single release post his well-received debut album “Kpanlogo”.

Kidi ft Teddy Riley — Say Cheese (Remix) (@KidiMusic)

Kidi connects with legendary American R&B superstar Teddy Riley, as the latter sprinkles his trademark “New Jack Swing” flavour on the remix of the smashing hit song! Watch the Rex-directed visual treatment for “Say Cheese” (Remix) below:

Mr. Drew — Let Me Know (@MrDrewOfficial)

Highly Spiritual Music signed act Mr. Drew looks to make the most of his breakout year as he returns with upbeat sentimental tune titled “Let Me Know”. The afro-infused jam was produced by MOG, and spots a fast-paced Xbills Ebenezer — directed music video.
