Final Verdict

While Izzik is not performing at a top-level yet, he shows great promise on this EP. His performance on this tape shows that he is well on his way to owning his sound. The features are all spot-on, as they all complemented Izzik's artistry. Izzik is on the right track, and his fans can be excited about what is coming.

Izzik is here to prove that he is among the future of African music industry as he serves his second project of the year titled Pandemic, with the current coronavirus pandemic halting the world’s activities Izzik named this mini EP Pandemic just to highlight the power he plans to hold in the music industry in years to come, the artist released a viral video for the first track a week before unleashing two more track spotlight and the track People Bore with both tracks making Apple music official Hip Hop Playlists. People Bore features the every impressing Pzeefire and rejuvenated Bucho DeGo making his debut appearance as oóshà. Out to take his rightful place amongst the top hip-hop acts in Nigeria and Africa as a whole, Izzik releases an amazing tape aptly titled Pandemic-EP. Artistes that draw inspiration from happenings around them are truly special, and Izzik does this brilliantly on Pandemic-EP.

The first track on the tape features OBS’, and is a braggadocio track. Talking big is part of the hip-hop culture, and both acts come through nicely. Izzik in particular raps about his wins and numbers. Spotlight is a catchy song, on which OBS’, OOSHA, and Bam Bam laying guest verses. Typical of an emerging act, they sing about grabbing the spotlight and getting their big break. On People Bore, Izzik seemingly addresses the issue of the pandemic and its effect on the masses. Pzeefire and OOSHA also laid great verses.
