Let me take you on a trip to my favourite City, Ibadan.

It’s the season of love and  what better way  to experience it  than to have fun with your loved ones in places that will be worth your while

Here Are Five Places to Go on A Date in Ibadan.

Ibachi – Ibadan Chinese Restaurant

If you want an Oriental experience Ibachi is the place for you. It’s a fantastic place for a date of two or four. Their service is extremely fast and their portion is quite large. It’s also affordable depending on your budget.  For a filling serving of one, it varies from #4500 – #6,000.

Location – Theophilus Akinyele way, New Bodija Ibadan

Chrysalis

If there’s any place I love for a date in Ibadan, it’s Chrysalis. They have about 4 branches, ( Old Bodija, Ventura, Ring-road, and Jericho ) depending on the closest one to you. Wing It at Jericho is it for me and the best place for a date. The lighting, the aesthetics everything there is just perfect. The food is quite tasty, their stir fry spaghetti is a fave. Price – #4500 for one depending on what you’re ordering. They also sell nice smoothie which ranges from #1500 to 1800. Chrysalis is pristine, they have a welcoming and homely customer service.

Location – Jericho Mall, Ibadan

Wimpy

This is all shades of amazing, it is  Lebanese owned. It serves a variety of food particularly continental and Mediterranean dishes which are very sumptuous. Their price ranges between #5000 to 6000 for a full course meal for one. Their Pizza stands out for me. Their customer service is top-notch, always readily available to serve in an amiable manner.

Location – Onireke Road, Ibadan

Oliver’s Cafe

This is one of the best places for a date in Ibadan. It is very cozy and if you just want a quiet and calm place then it is Oliver’s cafe for you. One of the best things about Oliver’s cafe is you can go alone, have fun by yourself and not feel awkward.

Price – It’s quite affordable depending on what you’re eating,  #2000 to #6000. They also have effective and efficient customer service.

Location – 26 Ladoke Akintola Street Ibadan

Bon Nest

Nest Hotel breeds elitism, that type of feeling that makes you want to lodge in with your own money and just enjoy the pampering. It’s a bit pricey depending on your budget, date of two with cocktails and water would cost you about #18,000. They are particular about decent dressing, It’s rumoured that a former colonel owns the place, you’ll see a lot of military presence there.
